We have developed a collaboration with Sweetgreen and we are very excited to report that we will be their Impact Partners for their Montana Ave store opening on February 11th. All profits from this day will go to SMMUSD, specifically to fund learning gardens at rthwir colosest schools, Franklin and Roosevelt Elementaries.

We need as many parents as possible from PAHF and the wider SMMUSD community to come to the Board Meeting on Thursday 28th June. There the 2018/19 budget will be voted on including the $700,000 we advocated for at the June 14th Board Meeting. Please collect a plate and hold during the meeting so that they know who we are, thanks!

We encourage you to attend this meeting and have your voice heard.  We would like as many PAHF parents as possible to attend and speak at this meeting during public comments.  You have up to 2 minutes to say what you want to say about what you want for the food service.

The board will be voting on this evening to assign $600,000 in equipment and set up costs to start the first 2 pilots of scratch cooking ever attempted in this school diostrict.

It is a momentous evening. If this goes through this will forever change the landscape of food provision in this district for the better, something some of us have been working on for nearly 10 years.
